Dry and clean the container thoroughly after the end of work. Dirty and wet container may result in
formation of fungi in the machine which has a detrimental eff ect on the health of the operator.
Automatic Filter Shaker (GVCV 12-25-32)
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with an automatic device for electromagnetic shaking of the fi lter.
It automatically shakes off the dust accumulated in the membrane fi lter once every 20 seconds. This
feature is independent of the main power switch, which means that the shaking process will always be
initiated if needed as long as the vacuum cleaner is connected to the mains.
It is a fully automated process that is initiated when a membrane fi lter is inserted. Shaking comes
with an audible but low noise. This is a normal sound and does not indicate an improper operation
of the machine. To minimize the noise, always insert membrane fi lter with the protruding metal part
downwards.
Vacuum Power Control (GVCV 12-25-32)
Vacuum power control knob (14) enables adjusting the suction power to the requirements of the work.
Sometimes power lower than the maximum power is needed. For example, to high suction power in
small grinders will result in the adherence of the tool to the workpiece. Should this occur, decrease the
suction power. Lower suction power will also decrease the noise level.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:
Before any maintenance work on the vacuum cleaner itself, pull the mains plug!
All maintenance and repair work that require opening the engine body must be conducted solely by an
authorized service centre.
Clean the Filter if Necessary
If the suction power decreases visible, it means that the fi lter system is clogged by fi ne dust particles.
If a paper dust bag is used, replace it with a new one. If a reusable bag is used, empty it and clean
with water. Let it dry completely before removing dry dusts.
If a membrane fi lter needs to be cleaned, simply remove it and clean or wash with water. Let it dry
completely before removing dry dusts (GVCV 12-25-32).
Remove pleated main fi lters and use best eff orts to shake off any contamination. If they are clogged
signifi cantly, replace them (GVCV 12-25-32).
Carry out a safety test at least once a year to check if the fi lter is not damaged and if there are no
leaks in the fi ltering system of the machine.
