the lathe should be mounted or placed on a
strong well lit workbench of sufficient height so
that you do not need to bend your back to per-
form normal operations.
To bolt the lathe to your workbench:
1. remove the four M6-1 screws that secure the
rubber feet and chip tray to the machine (if
already fitted.)
2. use the diagram shown in figure 7 as a
drill pattern to drill your holes into your work-
bench.
the rubber feet are attached to two metal brack-
ets. the feet and the brackets bolt through the
chip tray and into the base of the lathe.
To attach the rubber feet:
1. remove the four phillips head screws from
the bottom of the chip tray.
2. attach the two brackets with the screws you
removed in
step 1 (see figure 8).

unpacking or moving
your machine—get assis-

3. use the appropriate length M6-1 bolts with a
flat washer to secure the lathe and chip tray
to the workbench.
