6. Turn spindle speed dial all the way counter-
clockwise.
7. Press OFF button (see Figure 12).
8. Set spindle direction switch to reverse (up)
position, press ON button, then slowly turn
spindle speed dial clockwise.

When operating correctly, machine runs
smoothly with little or no vibration or rub-
bing noises. Spindle should rotate up
toward rear of lathe.
9. Press OFF button.
Congratulations! The Test Run is complete.

4. Connect machine to power supply.
5. Verify machine is operating correctly by set-
ting spindle direction switch in forward (down)
position, pressing ON button (see
Figure 12),
then slowly turning spindle speed dial clock-
wise. The digital readout should illuminate,
and spindle should rotate down toward front
of lathe.
3. Set spindle direction switch to neutral (mid-
dle) position and turn spindle speed dial all
the way counterclockwise (see
Figure 12).

2. Pull out indexing pin knob and rotate so
detent is seated on roll pin (see Figure 11).
This disables the indexing pin knob.
