Blade Guides
The left blade guide should be as close to the
workpiece as possible. This will help ensure
straight cuts by keeping the blade from twisting
and drifting off the cut line.
To adjust the left blade guide, loosen the knob
shown in
Figure 52 and slide left blade guide as
close to the workpiece as possible, then tighten
the knob.
The right blade guide has a wire brush that makes
contact with the blade to help clear away chips
and extend blade life (see
Figure 53).

1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Loosen swivel lock handle (see Figure 51)
and rotate headstock slightly past "0" on
angle scale.
3. Rotate flip-stop back in and move headstock
until turret (see
Figure 51) contacts flip-stop
bolt, then tighten swivel lock handle.
