   Right-click on the Client you would like to restart, and select Restart from the short-cut menu. 

After a moment, the Core Service for the Client changes from  Running to Start Pending, 

and back to    Running again. 

Viewing Client Information 

You can view information about the Client computers on the Grid, such as the vStores to which they 

are mapped. 
This sub-section covers the following topics: 

 Viewing a List of Clients on the Grid 
 Viewing All Clients Mapped to a vStore 
 Checking Client Membership Status in the Grid 

Viewing a List of Clients on the Grid 

You can view a list of all Clients on the Grid and check to ensure they are running well and that their 

software is up to date.

   In the left navigation tree of GridControl, click on    vController Manager. 

The vController Manager window opens to the right. 

2.

   Click the Client Software tab. 

A table of Clients on the Grid displays.  

 

Note:

 When a Client's software needs to be upgraded it displays in red on the Client Software 

tab. For more information, see 

Upgrading vController Software for a Client

 on pg. 72.
