After striking a foreign object, 

stop the motor, remove the wire 
from the spark-plug, thoroughly 
inspect the snow thrower for any 
damage, and repair the damage 
before restarting and operating 
the snow thrower.

If the unit should start to vibrate 

abnor mally, stop the motor 
and check immediately for the 
cause. Vibration is generally a 
warning of trouble.

Stop the motor whenever you 

leave the operating position, 
before unclogging the collector/
impeller housing or discharge 
g u i d e ,   a n d   w h e n   m a k i n g 
any repairs, adjustments, or 
inspections.

When cleaning, repairing, or 

inspecting, make certain the 
collector/impeller and all moving 
parts have stopped.

D o   n o t   c l e a r   s n o w   a c r o s s 

the face of slopes. Exercise 
extreme caution when changing 
direction on slopes. Do not 
attempt to clear steep slopes.

Never operate the snow thrower 

without proper guards, plates or 
other safety protective devices 
in place.

N e v e r   o p e r a t e   t h e   s n o w 

thrower near glass enclosures, 
automobiles, window wells, offs, 
ect. without proper adjustment 
of the snow discharge angle. 
Keep children and pets away.

Do not overload the machine 

capacity by attempting to clear 
snow at too fast a rate.

Never operate the machine 

at high transpor t speeds on 
slippery sufaces. Use care when 
reversing.

N e v e r   d i r e c t   d i s c h a r g e   a t 

bystanders or allow anyone in 
front of the unit.

D i s e n g a g e   p o w e r   t o   t h e 

collector/impeller when snow 
thrower is transported or not in 
use.

U s e   o n l y   a t t a c h m e n t s   a n d 

accessories approved by the 
manufacturer  of  snow  thrower 
( s u c h   a s   w h e e l   w e i g h t s , 
counterweights, cabs, etc.).

Never operate the snow thrower 

without good visibility or light. 
Always  be  sure  of  your  footing, 
and keep a firm hold on the
