HOW IT WORKS
MINIMATE generates an electrostatic ion wind that charges
floating particles in the breathing zone. The charged particles are
then repelled away from the wearer creating a breathing zone that
is free of toxins like allergens, smoke, dust, viruses and bacteria.
Studies have confirmed that the MINIMATE technology is
effective in significantly reducing breathable particles between .04
and 3 microns, a range that represents most viruses and bacteria.
MINIMATE also minimizes perfumes and odors.

WARNINGS

Do not attempt to charge the battery. It is not rechargeable.

Do not immerse in liquids or allow fluids to enter unit.
•
Do not open or attempt to repair the inside of the unit.
There are no user serviceable parts inside.
TROUBLESHOOTING
•
If the indicator light does not come on, the battery needs
to be replaced.
•
If there is no breeze or airflow when you turn your
MINIMATE on, the battery needs to be replaced.
•
If you are in a heavily polluted environment and your
MINIMATE makes a hissing sound, blow gently into the
top of the grill to dislodge dust build up.
TIP: When using your MINIMATE in a heavily polluted
environment, bend your head forward to draw in more
ionized air.
DISCLAIMER
MINIMATE is not a medical device. Do not reduce or eliminate
any therapies or drugs prescribed by a physician while using
MINIMATE. Although MINIMATE does not treat or cure any
sickness or disease, it does reduce the risks associated with the
inhalation of airborne viruses and bacteria much like a surgical
mask. Combining the MINIMATE with a mask has been proven
to dramatically enhance the effectiveness of particle exclusion.
However, neither MINIMATE nor any surgical or respirator mask
(or the combination of) can offer 100% protection against viral or
bacterial infections.
Infectious agents can enter the body by routes other than inhalation
including skin contact and oral/food ingestion. Public health
authorities recommend frequent and thorough hand washing.
Persons should consult a doctor before use if under treatment for
any ailments or disease. Not for use by children under 4 years old.

HOW TO USE
1.
Refer to the REPLACING THE BATTERY section for initial
installment of the battery.
2.
Find the switch located on the side of your MINIMATE and
slide it up into the “ON” position. The indicator light located
under the grill will blink when MINIMATE is on.
3.
Use the included necklace to hang your MINIMATE around
your neck or use the clip to clasp it to a shirt pocket. Your
MINIMATE should be located about 6 to 8 inches beneath
your nose and the metal grill should be facing upward.
4.
With your MINIMATE turned on and in the proper position, you
will feel the purified breeze wafting upward as you inhale.
NOTE: This is not a fan or mechanical blower. The airflow is
limited so that sensitive mucous membranes are not affected.
NOTE: MINIMATE has limited effectiveness in windy conditions.
5.
When not in use, turn off your MINIMATE by sliding the
switch down into the “OFF” position.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
1.
Slide the battery access door, located on the side, all the
way off exposing the used battery.
2.
Place your finger against the positive side of the battery, push
towards the negative side and swing the positive side out.
3.
Replace with new battery by inserting positive (+) end
first (match positive (+) and negative (-) markings on the
battery with like markings in battery compartment) and
push negative (-) end onto its metal contact.
4.
Using the grooved rails, slide the battery access door back
on so it clicks into place.
