liable for any damage as a result - the risk lies solely with the user.
The boom mower is available in many models and sizes, but they all have the same
basic structure and control system - the operation of the machine is therefore the same.
The machine is used to handle, control, and carry various attachment tools.
The attachment tools intended for use with the Scorpion boom mower are listed in the
Specifications
section.
The intended use of the machine with the above tools is:
•
Hedge cutting
•
Trimming of large windbreaks (Branches up to 21cm in thickness for the
largest saw model)
•
Rotary crushing
•
Grass cutting/mowing
•
Grass raking
•
Ditch cleaning
•
Cleaning of, for example, tiles
From the driver's cabin, the boom mower is switched on/off, and all its movements are
controlled via the joystick and the control panel. Most of the boom mowers have their
own hydraulic system, a large hydraulic oil reservoir, filters, valves, and a hydraulics
pump, which is operated through a gearbox to the vehicle's power take- off shaft (PTO).
Many GreenTec working tools can be mounted on the boom mower. Grass cutters,
quadsaws, hedge trimmers and hedge cutters, as well as barrier mowers, rotary rakes,
ditch cleaners and weed brushes of various sizes can be mounted on the various
Scorpion models. In addition, a leaf blower can be remounted onto the Scorpion 6 and
Scorpion 8, which is operated via the tractor's hydraulics.
