Maintenance
Instrument damage hazard:
• Do not attempt to repair this unit. It contains no user-
serviceable parts.
• Do not expose the unit to extremes in temperature or
high humidity. Refer to “Specifications.”
Failure to observe these precautions may result in injury
and may damage the unit.
Battery Replacement
1. Press the battery compartment release and
pull the door down.
2. Replace the batteries (observe polarity).
3. Close the battery compartment door.
Cleaning
Lens
1. Blow off loose particles using clean
compressed air.
2. Gently brush any remaining debris away
with a camel hair brush.
3. Carefully wipe the surface with a water-
moistened cotton swab.
Note: Do not use solvents!
Housing
Periodically wipe the housing with a damp cloth
and mild detergent; do not use abrasives or
solvents.
