Resistance Measurement
1. Turn off device being tested. Discharge any capacitors. Voltage should not be
present.
2. Connect the red test lead to the + input terminal and the black test lead to the
- input terminal.
3. Set the Range Select Switch to the 2K
Ω
Resistance Range.
4. Connect the test leads across the resistance being measured and read the
display. Press DATA HOLD to hold displayed range. Press again to release.
Note: Resistance readings should always be taken in parallel with the circuit.
Never connect a source of voltage with the Range Selector Switch in the
Ω
(ohms) position. Personal injury or damage to the meter may result.
Failure to observe this warning may result in severe injury or death.
