Preparation and Setup

Parking Stands

Refer to Figure 10

Heavy Object Hazard:

Use the lifting handle

. The leg could cause injury if you lose

control of leg while raising or lowering.

1. If necessary, slightly raise the product. See

“

Raising/Lowering 3P3025AH

” on page 31.

2. Remove a hair pin  from the clevis pin .
3. Grasp and hold the lifting handle

. 

4. Remove the clevis pin.
5. Lift or lower the stand straight up or down.
6. Install the clevis pin. Secure with hair pin.

Leveling the 3P3025AH

Check and adjust level in field conditions on level

ground.

Center Frame L/R Leveling

Refer to Figure 11

1. Hitch the planter to a tractor (page 16 and page 17).
2. Raise the planter. Unfold the planter (page 32).
3. Adjust the tractor lift arms so that the center section

tool bar is level.

Wing Leveling

Refer to Figure 12

1. Unfold the planter.
2. Lower the planter until the wing stop bolt

 contacts

the outer lug of the fold cylinder

.

3. The holes for the outer wing lock pin must be aligned

so the outer wing lock pin

 is easy to install and

remove.
If the adjustment is not correct, continue the

procedure to make the correction.
