Hitch Height Adjustment
For proper operation, the drill tongue must run parallel to
the ground in field position. Follow these instructions to
adjust the drill hitch to match your tractor drawbar height.
Refer to Figure 1
1. Check the distance from the bottom of the tongue to
the ground as shown. Using the drill jack, adjust the
tongue up or down until the distance is about 45
inches.
2. Back the tractor drawbar up to the drill hitch.
Determine how much adjustment is needed for the
drill to match drawbar height.
Refer to Figure 2
3. Unbolt the hitch from the tongue. Rebolt the hitch
so the drill matches drawbar height.
When hitching the drill to a different tractor, check for
differences in drawbar heights and re-adjust the drill hitch
accordingly.
