Adjust Blade Height
See Figure 42.
Level and pitch the mower with the height
adjusters on each deck lift bracket.
1. Loosen the jam nut on the deck leveling
bracket bolt about 1/4 turn to reduce
clamp load on the height adjusters.
2. Loosen the jam nut on the deck lift bolt
and then turn the bolt clockwise to raise
the deck or counterclockwise to lower the
deck.
3. Tighten jam nuts.
Adjust Deck Height
The mower deck has two height options to
extend the height-of-cut range.
• Low position: 38 mm – 102 mm (1.5" – 4")
• High position: 64 mm – 127 mm (2.5" – 5")
To change deck height:
1. Follow procedure for removing deck. See
NOTICE:
Deck does not have to be slid out
from under unit.
2. Choose the mounting holes for the
desired cut height.
• For higher height of cut, mount the deck
idler leveling bracket and HOC selection in
the lower holes. Install V-belt onto the lower
pulley of double pulley.
• For lower height of cut, mount the deck
idler leveling bracket and HOC selection in
the upper holes. Install V-belt onto the
upper pulley of double pulley.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure all HOC positions
match the corresponding HOC range.

CAUTION:
DO NOT engage
mower blades in the transport
lock position if the deck is in the
low HOC range (1.5" – 4"). Belt
damage may occur.
