M/E Menus
Figure 211. Source Select Menu, Bkgd Layers Selected
Sources are changed by choosing either the Key Layers or the Bkgd Layers,
delegating the desired item (for example, M/E 1, Keyer 1 Fill, Near Side
Source), and then selecting the source from the scrolling list on the right.
You can tap the green area of the slider to display the next group of sources,
and you can drag your finger on the slider handle to quickly scroll the list.
Sources can also be selected with the Source soft knob.
Unlike source selections on the Main panel, which switches both near and
far side sources unless a modifier button is used, menu source selections for
near and far side sources are always independent.
The Source Select menu can be used to select a source, and then an E-MEM
register can be learned. Subsequent recall of that E-MEM register will recall
the source even if it is not mapped to a button.
Color Corrector Menu
RGB Color Correction is a software enabled feature that converts the video
signal on a particular video bus from color difference format to RGB (red,
green, blue) color component format, applies separate offset, gain, and
gamma to each RGB component, then converts from RGB back to color dif-
ference (Y, Cb, Cr) format. The color correction is applied on an input by
input basis. The parameters are applied on the basis of a source and bus
