Still Store Menus
The Record data pad indicates the preset duration of the record and the
record Fence parameters used to restrict the region captured. To set record
parameters, touch the Record data pad. A pane appears on the right with
clip recording controls (
Figure 180 ).

The
Duration
data pad and soft knob determine the duration of the
recording. The parameter value is in frames.
Note When the cache is full, older items will be uncached to make room for the
new item. Long duration recordings involve lots of data and will clear many
cached items. Saving a long recording also takes considerable time. Fenced
recording can be used to reduce storage requirements and save times.
The following fence adjustments must be selected before performing the
recording.
• The Fence Size pane has buttons that determine the size of the image to
be recorded (full screen, 1/4. 1/9, 1/25),
• The
Horizontal Fence
data pad controls the horizontal position of the
fenced area to be recorded,
• The
Vertical Fence
data pad controls the vertical position of the fenced
area to be recorded, and
• The
Done
button hides the pane and redisplays the Still Store output del-
egation controls.
