PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
INSTALLATION OF SANDING PAPER
The sander is equipped with pad with so called hook-and-loop, only appropriate sanding paper should be
used.
Put the sanding paper close to the backing pad (

).
Place the sanding paper so it’s holes (

) match holes on the sander backing pad.
Press the paper against the backing pad (

).
Ensure that the holes on the sanding paper and backing pad fully match; it ensures possibility of dust
●
extraction.
Sanding paper must thoroughly adhere to the sander backing pad.
DUST EXTRACTION
Use perforated sanding paper, so the dust can reach the dust extraction outlet (

) through the backing pad
(

). You can also use external dust extraction system by connecting it to the adaptor (4).
OPERATION / SETTINGS

The mains voltage must match the voltage on the rating plate of the sander.

WORKING WITH DELTA SANDER
●
Whole sanding area must rest on the processed surface.
Turn the sander on, apply moderate pressure and move it on the processed material.
●
When finishing to sand, reduce pressure, lift the sander and only after that switch the tool off.
●
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the tool from power supply network before starting any adjustment, maintenance or
repair.
Soft brush or stream of compressed air are best for cleaning the sander.
●
Do not clean with water or cemical cleaning agents.
●
Clean the sander on a regular basis, preferably after each work.
●
Always keep the sander and ventilation holes clean.
●
Always store the sander in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
●
In case of excessive commutator sparking have the technical condition of carbon brushes of the motor
●
checked by a qualified person.
REPLACEMENT OF BACKING PAD
Damaged backing pad (
3
) must be replaced immediately.
Unscrew the screws that fix the backing pad (
●
3
).
Remove and replace the backing pad.
●
Tighten the fixing screws.
●
REPLACEMENT OF CARBON BRUSHES
Replace immediately worn out (shorter than 5 mm), burnt or cracked motor carbon brushes. Always
replace both brushes at a time.
Entrust replacement of carbon brushes only to a qualified person. Only original parts should be
used.
All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the manufacturer.
