Following are the steps to install a HandyTone-486:
1.
Connect a standard touch-tone analog telephone (or fax machine) to PHONE port.
2.
Connect a PSTN telephone line to LINE port (optional).
3.
Insert the Ethernet cable into the WAN port of HandyTone-486 and connect the other end of
the Ethernet cable to an uplink port (a router or a modem, etc.)
4.
Connect a PC to the LAN port of HandyTone-486.
5.
Insert the power adapter into the HandyTone-486 and connect it to a wall outlet.
Please follow the instructions in section 6.2.1 to configure the HandyTone-486.
