step below the starboard door leading to the deck.

Keep the male crabs of proper size (usually 6 ¼ inches across the carapace).
CRAB COOKING
This process can make a big difference in your meal, cleanup and overall satisfaction.
Rule one:
Dungeness crabs are different than east coast blue crabs, so don’t try to boil them
live or whole. From the beginning: (with at least one licensed individual).

15 minutes on the bottom before pull, then quickly with the time is up.

Return females and shorts (less than 6 ¼” across the carapace).
3.
Do not throw males into a bucket of water unless you want limbless veterans.
