Remove the kitchen element door and attach the
bracket 1 by screwing four screws 10 into
the pre-drilled holes . Attach the kitchen
element door to the appliance door. See .
The position of the door can be adjusted by turning
screw 7 using a cross-slot screwdriver.
After adjustment, fasten the door in position using
the bolt 8 .
Attach the bracket 3 to the bottom corner of the
appliance door using screw 12 and then to the
kitchen element door using screw 10 .
Attach the decorative strip 2 to the adjustable
bracket 1 .
You can change the doors from
right-hinged to left-hinged or vice
versa yourself
Remove the hinges from the appliance and refit
them as follows: upper right hinge to lower left of
door; lower right hinge to upper right of door.
Starting up
If during transport the appliance has been laid
down, or if it has been stored in cold surroundings
(colder than +5°C) it must be allowed to stabilise
for at least two hours before being switched on.
Start the appliance by plugging it into a wall socket.
Please note! If the mains lead has been
damaged, it must be replaced with a
corresponding type supplied by Gram A/S or
one of Gram’s service centres.

Changing the temperature
When the appliance is started the thermostat should
be in its middle setting. After an hour or two the
cabinet will have cooled down. If a lower
temperature is required, turn the thermostat knob
towards „Max.”. If a higher temperature is
required, turn the knob towards „0”.
Refrigeration is switched off when the thermostat
knob setting is „0”.

Make two marks using the accompanying template

Attach the bracket 1 to the door at the marks
using two screws 10 . See figure .
Centrally position the appliance door on the kitchen
element door.

The control panel is positioned behind the door at the
top of the cabinet. The switch furthest to the right
starts the freezer. The green lamp lights up, showing
that power is on. The thermostat knob can be set
from 1 (warmest) to 7 (coldest).
When the appliance is started the thermostat should be
in its middle setting „4”. After an hour or two the cabinet
will have cooled down. If a lower temperature is required,
turn the thermostat knob towards „7”. If a higher
temperature is required, turn the knob towards „1”.
The compressor is switched off when the thermostat
knob setting is „0”.
The red lamp lights up when the temperature in the
cabinet is not in accordance with the thermostat setting.
Freezing down
The most effective freezing down is achieved by pressing
the „quick-freeze” switch ¹ 24 hours before items are to
be placed in the cabinet. The yellow lamp º remains lit
for as long as „quick-freeze” is switched on.
When freezing down is completed - after a day or two
depending on the quantity of items placed in the cabinet
- switch off „quick-freeze”, and the yellow lamp
will go out.
Please note!
The compressor runs conti-
nuously during freezing down.
