POSITIONING
Gradient SW-S/D is equipped with three
adjustable feet with nuts. Adjust the three feet in
such a way that loudspeaker stands steadily on
the floor. Tighten the feet with nuts using a
10mm wrench. If necessary, the adjustable feet
can be replaced by M6 spikes.
The subwoofer units should be placed on the
inner or outer side of the Gradient Revolution
speakers so that the distances from the listener
will be - 0.5m (20”) (Figure 1.). However
the distance between the Gradient Revolution
and the subwoofer unit can be larger.
Because of the dipole (figure of eight) radiation
of the subwoofers it is easy to affect on the
quality of bass. By rotating the subwoofers you
can fine tune the bass. Usually it is recom-
mended to use symmetric positioning (both
systems in mirror layout). Note: If the bass
response is adjusted by rotating the subwoofer
unit, the bass section of the Gradient Revolution
has to be rotated too. The woofer sides of the
subwoofer unit and the bass section of the
Gradient Revolution should be in line.
