4. Be Sure the Harness Straps
Are at the Proper Height
Rear-Facing:
Harness straps must be
at or just below
the child’s shoulders
and top of head must be at least 1” (2.5
cm) below the red headrest/harness
adjustment handle.
Forward-Facing:
Harness straps must
be
at or just above
the child’s shoulders
and top of child’s ears must be below top
of headrest.

Harness Height
Squeeze the red adjustment handle and
move headrest for the proper harness
height.
5. Check the Buckle Position
The correct slot is the one that is closest
to your child without being underneath
them.
