Digital Outputs
The digital outputs provide status signals to other
devices, such as a PLC.
NOTE: Digital outputs require a pullup to the
connecting device’s logic level “1” (e.g., 24VDC).

Timing Diagrams
The system control logic is responsible for turning on
and off the electrostatic generator. There are several
operation modes of the spray system. It is important
that these are understood for proper integration and
safety.
The operation modes are:
• Standby: Electrostatics held in off mode
• SAFE POSITION: Turn on electrostatics using the
SAFE POSITION system.
• Spray: Fluid and electrostatics enabled, applicator
in motion
• Purge: Flush solvent is present, no electrostatics,
applicator not in motion
• Error handling
NOTE: Your fluid supply system must not allow
electrostatics to be enabled while solvent is flowing
through the applicator. This can be accomplished by
using one of the interlock inputs or through control
of the Electrostatic Enable pin. This can also be
accomplished by powering down the controller.
