Please refer to p.41, “Vehicle Seat Belts”
to determine what type of vehicle seat
belt is in your vehicle.
1. Store
rear-facing and forward-facing
LATCH belt as shown (a) . Pull out on
handle on front of child restraint (b)
and adjust to rear-facing position 1 (c) .
2. Place rear-facing on vehicle seat.
3. Thread vehicle seat belt through
rear-facing openings under the seat
pad and buckle belt (d) . DO NOT pass vehicle belt over top of the seat pad.
Press down firmly in center of child restraint to compress vehicle seat cushion
while tightening vehicle seat belt
(e) .
LATCH belts MUST be stored when
using vehicle seat belt to install child
restraint.
