Battery Replacement
Important: If new batteries are used follow the “Charge
Batteries Before First Use” procedure on page 4.
1.
Remove Cover (6). See Fig. 8.
CAUTION
Take notice of how the electrical leads are discon-
nected from the battery in steps 2 and 3. When re-
assembling, both the short lead and long lead must be
connected to the battery in the same direction.
2.
Carefully slide battery (5) out of grease gun. When
the battery is partially out, disconnect short lead
(3) on the bottom of the battery.
3.
Continue removing battery (5) and disconnect long
battery lead (4).
4.
Using the new battery, connect long lead (4) in the
same direction as it was removed.
5.
Slide new battery (5) partially into gun and connect
short lead (3) in the same direction as it was
removed.
6.
Slide new battery (5) fully into gun and replace
battery cover (6).

Charge battery as needed. See Battery Charging
procedure on page 6.
