Removal
1. Relieve Pressure (see cover) and unplug power
cord.
2. Remove pail hook (G) from bottom of front cover
(C).
3. Remove suction tube assembly (W) and drain tube
(U).
4. Remove four cover screws (B) and front cover (C).
5. Remove yoke (D) and guide rods (E). Clean if nec-
essary.
6. Disconnect pressure control harness (F) from con-
trol board connector (H) at back of drive housing (J).
Using fingernail or tip of small, flat-blade screw-
driver, press tab on right side of connector to
release.
7. Remove pump (M) from drive housing (J).
8. Place pump (M) on workbench or in vise.
9. Unscrew pressure control switch (P) from pump (M).
Verify that o-ring seal (R) is also removed from
pump (M).
Installation

Read all Installation Notes on back of this page.
1. Screw new pressure control switch (P) into pump
(M), and torque to 140-160 in-lb (16-18 N•m). Do
not overtighten, damage could occur.
2. Route pressure control harness through retention
clip (K), and connect to control board connector (H)
at back of drive housing (J) as shown in Wiring
Detail.
3. Install pump (M) on mounting pins (S). Make sure
plastic washers (T) are between drive housing (J)
and pump and that pressure control wires are not
pinched between pump and drive housing.
4. Install yoke (D) with rod cap in slot of yoke as shown
in Rod Yoke Detail on next page.
5. Check final assembly against Drive Train Detail on
next page.
6. Install front cover (C) and cover screws (B).
7. Install pail hook (G) to bottom of front cover (C).
8. Install suction tube assembly (W) and drain tube (U)
on new pump (M).
9. Turn Pressure Control Knob (P) clockwise as far as
it will go. Apply pressure control label to knob. Posi-
tion as shown below.
