This pump is factory tested in oil. To avoid contami-
nating the masking liquid or the surface being
painted, flush the pump before immersing it in the
masking liquid. Use water only to flush. Paint sol-
vents will damage the seals. Follow the set-up
procedure carefully, and pay special attention to the
Flushing procedure on page 5.
