Control Board Repair
Standard Models
Removal:
1.
.
2.
Turn the power switch (36) to
OFF
and
unplug the power cord to disconnect
power.
3.
Remove eight screws (16) and the top
cover (31).
NOTE:
Be cautious not to damage the wires
that connect to the cover.
4.
Remove five screws (16), disconnect air
hose (29), and remove the rear panel
(22).
5.
Disconnect turbine motor leads (12) and
the potentiometer (45) from the control
board (20). Refer to

Disconnect control board leads to the
power switch (36) and power cord
receptacle (23). Refer to
7.
Remove four control board mounting
screws (21) and remove control board
(20).
Installation:
1.
Install new control board (20) using four
screws (21). Torque to 15-20 in-lbs (1.7
- 2.3 N•m).
2.
Connect control board leads to the
power switch (36) and power cord
receptacle (23). Refer to
3.
Connect turbine motor leads (12) and
potentiometer (45) to the new control
board (20). Refer to
4.
Connect air hose (29) to rear panel (22)
and install using five screws (16).Torque
to 20-25 in-lbs (2.5 - 3.0 N•m).
5.
Install top cover (31) using eight screws
(16). Torque to 20-25 in-lbs (2.5 - 3.0
N•m).
