Installing the Oil Tank Monitor

NOTE: 

Although the Oil Tank Monitor is rated for a max-

imum air working pressure of 150 psi and has a recom-
mended operating pressure of 90 psi, Graco 
recommends using 50 psi pressure when used with 
Graco Diaphragm pumps.

NOTE:

 

If an air regulator is to be used, be sure that it is 

connected to the air inlet port of the oil level monitor. 
See Fig 1 Graco Used Oil Evacuation Installation Guide.

1.

Shut down system and relieve system pressure. Fol-
low the Pressure Relief Procedure found in the 

Pump Module Manual that initially came with your 
system. 

2.

Remove thread protector and discard.

3.

Connect float chain (A).

Connect air supply to inlet port (B, F

from pressurized fluid, accidental spray, or splashing 
fluid, follow the pressure relief procedure provided in 
your pump instruction manual before servicing.
