Troubleshooting

For stitch quality problems that aren’t 

listed in the troubleshooting directory 

on page 70, take the following steps:

•  Check your frame’s rail alignment.
•  Check your machine’s presser foot 

height.

•  Check your needle for bends or 

burrs.

•  Check your bobbin thread tension.
•  Check your top thread tension.
• 

Confirm your needle size is correct 

for the thread and fabric that you 

are using.

• 

Confirm that your quilting area is 

clear of debris.

•  Wipe down your frame tracks and 

carriage wheels with a lint-free 

cloth.
