Once you complete your installation tests the device will go into a sleep-mode
and begin its 24-
hour cycle. While it’s in sleep
-mode, you will be unable to click
locate now. You will just have to wait until the next time it update, which is
approximately 24-hours after it last updated.
To activate AGGRESSIVE tracking

You need to contact GPSandTRACK.com to
facilitate the switch from Standard Tracking Mode to Aggressive Tracking Mode.
You can email our tech support direct at
578-1809. The unit can take several hours to complete this switch. This would be
in the case of a
“stolen or lost trailer.”
In the Aggressive Tracking Mode, the unit will track in real-time.
Once you are done with the Aggressive Tracking Mode, you will want to switch
the unit back to its Standard Tracking Mode as quickly as possible, every DAY the
unit is in Aggressive Tracking it uses one Month of Standard Tracking battery time.

To deactivate unit

reinstall the small magnet.
Common Error Messages:
iIf your device does not activate properly after 5
minutes, you may see it still in it’s default location and an error message may pop
up saying
“System cannot connect to device. Device has never registered with the
COLT system.” Please put the magnet back on for another 5 minutes. Then take
the device outside, in the open, where nothing could possibly be blocking the
signal and take off the magnet for a second time. Please allow 5 minutes for it to
update.
