Installation
The GP38 is delivered in pre-assembled parts. Anchorage is not required when supervision is guaranteed at the school playground. This
equipment is not suited to be installed on a loose ground (e.g. sand, bark, woodchips, …).
Put the Centipede in the desired configuration. Use the screws, washers and cover caps to fix the parts together. The colored sheets are pre-
drilled, use a 6 mm wood drill bit to pre-drill the black legs (through the holes in the sheets).
No need for safety zone and safety surface
As the Centipede is being considered as furniture and not as a play equipment, a safety zone as well as a safety surfacing are not required.
Anchorage
Ÿ
Drill a hole of 8 mm in the middle of each of the 7 lower boards
Ÿ
Position the Centipede on the desired place (surface should be flat and solid)
Ÿ
Mark the 7 holes on the hard surface
Ÿ
Drill the 7 holes into the hard surface using a 8 mm stone drill bit
Ÿ
Put the Centipede on its position and fix it to the ground using the nail plugs.
Important suggestion
To drill the holes in the ground, use a sharp drill and just put the plastic plug into the hole. It is better to screw the nail into the plug than to hammer. This
way, you don't damage the head of the nail and unfixing will be easy.
