Before Initial Use

Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
1. Remove any protective
fi
lms and transport restraints that may be present from the
device.
2. To remove any possible production residues,
fi
ll the kettle up to the
MAX
marking
with drinking water before you
fi
rst use it and switch on the 100 °C boil function. To do
this, follow the instructions in the “Use” chapter. Pour away this water,
do not drink
it!
Repeat this process twice.
Do not pour any cold water into the hot kettle
to prevent material damage! Allow
the kettle to cool down before
fi
lling it.
3. Clean the kettle (

) and lid (

) in the manner described in the “Cleaning and Care”
chapter.
4. The kettle is now ready for operation!
