Unpleasant smell in the
washing machine drum.

than usual. Time indicated
on the display is corrected

• There has been a failure in the
power supply.
• Washing program time may be up
to 60% longer; however, this does
not imply a fault in the machine.

Washing program does
not start

• Water outlet is clogged.
Check if:
• the filter is clean,
• outlet pipe is not jammed,
• the drain is clogged,
• outlet pipe is positioned higher
than 1m.
• Push START again.
Unevenly distributed laundry or lumps of laundry in the washing machine drum can cause
problems such as vibration and noisy operation. The appliance will sense such problems
and activate the UKS.*
Smaller loads (e.g. one towel, one sweater, one bathrobe etc.) or clothes made of
materials with special geometrical properties are virtually impossible to distribute evenly
across the washing machine drum (slippers, large items etc.). This results in several
attempts to redistribute the laundry, which in turn leads to longer program duration. In
extreme cases of unfavourable conditions, the program can be completed without the
spinning cycle.
UKS allows stable operation and extends the useful life of the appliance.
In case you were not successful in repairing the malfunctions in
spite of the above suggestion chart, call the nearest authorized
service shop. Repairing the failure arising from inappropriate
connections or use of the appliance is not covered by the
guarantee, and the repair expenses are paid by the customer.
