For smaller diameter pots and pans (coffee and tea pots, etc.), the power of the 
burner being used has to be regulated in order to ensure that the flame laps the 
bottom of the pot without spilling over. Do not use pots with concave or convex 
bottoms. 
WARNING: if the burner flame is extinguished accidentally, turn off the knob 
and leave it for at least one minute before trying to re-ignite it.
