There might be times when you need to remove your camera’s door.
WARNING: Only remove the door in a dry, dust-free
environment. The camera is not waterproof when the
door is open or removed.
REMOVING THE DOOR
1. Unlock the latch, and flip the door open.
2. Gently force the door open until it snaps off.
WARNING: Avoid using HERO8 Black with the door off.
The battery could slide out during use.

REATTACHING THE DOOR
1. Line the door up with the small silver bar.
2. Press the door tightly into the small silver bar until it snaps into place
and is securely attached.
WARNING: Be sure that it is locked, sealed, and waterproof
by checking the door latch and pressing the hinge after closing
the door.
