Torque wrench 1/2 inch / 12.7 mm with micrometre setting from 42-210 Nm
A. To unlock the handle, hold the torque wrench firmly in your hand and pull out the
locking button at the end of the handle.
B. Set the desired torque by rotating the handle in a clockwise or anticlockwise
direction.
Example: 66 Nm main scale
1. Set the main scale to the value with the marking “56” and the fine setting to “0”.
The torque wrench is now set to 56 Nm (Diag. 1).
2. Rotate the handle and set the ring scale for the fine setting to “10”.
The torque wrench is now set to 66 Nm (Diag. 2).
3. Secure the setting by pressing in the locking button until you hear a click.
4. Put the required socket or wrench attachment on the square drive. To tighten a screw,
hold the handle in the middle of your hand.
Operate the torque wrench with an even application of force until you hear and/or feel
a click. Now stop tightening the screw. Once you release it, the wrench is automatically
ready to operate again.
1. The torque wrench must be regularly calibrated to guarantee its accuracy. Calibrations
should be performed after about 5,000 cycles or after 12 months. This can be done by
many garages or their service providers.
2. If you have not used the wrench for a lengthy period, operate the wrench a few times
with a low torque setting so as to distribute the lubricant in the internal mechanism.
3. Never clean the torque wrench with solvents but only rub it clean with a dry cloth.
Do not immerse it in liquids.
4. The torque wrench’s internal mechanism is provided with a permanent lubricant during
production. Do not try to lubricate the internal mechanism.
5. Do not exert any pressure on the torque wrench beyond the set torque.
This might lead to damage to the wrench or the workpiece.
6. Store the torque wrench in the protective packaging provided for this purpose.
It should be stored at the lowest torque setting.

Operating instructions
When extensions or adapters are used, the torque value changes. An extension increases
the effective length of the torque wrench. The new torque performance of the wrench may
be calculated with the following formula:
TW – TE x L
L + A
TW = Torque wrench scale value
TE = Torque applied at the end of the adapter
L = Distance between square drive and hand position
A = Length of the adapter or of the extension
Bear in mind that the accuracy of the above calculation is affected by an entire series of
variables such as the length of the adapter, the extension and the torque wrench or
a change in the position of the hand.
• Use the torque wrench only to tighten screws, not to unscrew them!
• An uncalibrated torque wrench may cause damage to the workpiece or the wrench.
• Do not use the torque wrench to unscrew bolts.
• Do not use any improvised extension rods.
• Do not continue to use damaged or slipping tools. They may cause injury.
• The ratchet mechanism may slip or break if it is dirty or if unsuitable or worn parts are
used or if the reversing lever has not been moved fully into a new position.
• When working, always wear appropriate eye protection to prevent injury.
