6. POSITIONING OF SPEAKERS
Once all of your connections have been made, set up the position of your speakers for optimum listening pleasure.
Centre speaker
This should be positioned directly on top of or underneath of your television (preferably underneath then the speaker will
not pick up any unwanted vibrations from the television cabinet).
Front speakers
These should be positioned either side of the television so they form the base of an equilateral triangle with you at the
apex. Preferably they need to be at the same height as the centre speaker and pointing slightly towards you.
Rear speakers
These should be mounted on a wall or on speaker stands roughly level with your seat, angled towards each other and
about a metre above your head.
Subwoofer
This can be positioned anywhere within the room as human ears cannot resolve the direction of low frequency sounds.
