Using your alarm clock

Introducing your alarm clock radio

Your alarm clock radio has the following features; 
an FM/MW radio, alarm and wake to music or 
buzzer function, snooze and sleep, a green LED 
display, 24 hour clock display, 240V AC, 50Hz 
power source with a battery backup.

Switching on the alarm clock radio

Your alarm clock radio comes with a mains power 
cable and fitted plug.

Insert the plug into a mains socket, and switch 
it On. 

The clock display will light up and the clock will 
start.

Using a back-up battery

If there is a mains power failure the clock will 
continue to run if a back-up battery is installed. 

DON’T FORGET!

 The clock display will not 

illuminate when the back-up battery is being 
used.

Remove the battery compartment cover on the 
bottom of the alarm clock radio and fit a PP3 9V 
battery into the compartment.

The dimmer switch

The dimmer switch allows you to set the 
brightness of the LCD display to High or Low.

Setting the clock

   Select 

TIME

 using the Setting switch.

   Rotate the dial control to the right until the 

correct hour is displayed.

  Then rotate the dial control to the left until  

 

the correct minutes are displayed.

  Select 

RUN

 using the Setting switch

ALM

 using the Setting switch.

   Rotate the dial control to the right until the 

correct hour is displayed.

  Then rotate the dial control to the left until  

 

the correct minutes are displayed.

  Select 

RUN

 using the Setting switch.

   Switch the Power switch to 

AUTO

. The LED 

indicator will light on the LCD display.

Buzzer and music alarm mode

The alarm can wake you either by buzzer, or radio.

   For radio set the volume control to a level  

 

that will wake you, and select the station  

 

you want using the Tuning control.

  For buzzer turn the volume control towards  

 

minimum until it clicks 

Stopping the alarm

Select 

OFF

 using the Power switch. 

Using the snooze function

When the alarm starts you can  press the 

Snooze

 

button allowing you a further 6 minutes sleep 
before the alarm turns on again.  

You may repeat the snooze cycle several times.

DON’T FORGET!

 We recommend that you 

replace the back-up battery once a year or 
when required.
