Safety Instructions
1.1 General
• Read the user manual completely and carefully before use.
The user manual is part of the product and contains important
information for correct use.
• Keep this user manual.
The user manual must be available for uncertainties and passing the
product.
Risk of electric shock:
Voltage-free only when the plug is pulled.
The product has no power switch and may be used only in easily
accessible outlets to quickly remove it in an emergency and after use.
• In case of emergency, during thunderstorms and after use,
pull the product on its plug housing!
• Do not open the housing.
• Do not modify product and accessories.
• Do not short connectors and circuits.
• Use product, product parts and accessories only in perfect
condition.
A defective device may not be put into operation, but must be disconnec-
ted from mains and protected against further use.

Description and Function
2.1 Product
With your Toslink Audio switch you can send the digital audio signals from your
source devices to 1 output device and manually choose between the source devices,
so you can use them alternatively without swapping or rewiring.

Intended Use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter
Description and Function. Use the product only in dry interior rooms. Not
attending to these regulations and safety instructions might cause fatal
accidents, injuries, and damages to persons and property.

Connecting and Operating
Risk of injury by stumbling and falling

Mind placing cables in a way, nobody will be disabled and the
cable not be damaged.
•
Install the system and devices attached to it in a way that persons
cannot be injured, or objects not be damaged for example by drop-
ping
or
stumbling.
Material damage due to wrong placement and wrong
voltage supply

Only place on non-slipping surface.
•
Use only the supplied power supply.

Connecting
1.
Check the scope of delivery for completeness and integrity.
2.
Compare the specifications of all equipment be used and ensure
compatibility
3.
Connect your source devices by suitable Toslink cable to the
inputs (1 + 2) of the Toslink audio switch.
4.
Connect the input of your output device by a suitable Toslink cable
to the Toslink output (6) of the Toslink audio switch.
5.
Connect the supplied power supply unit to the Toslink audio switch
and after that to a free and well accessible mains socket.

4.2 Operating
1.
Switch on all equipment.
2.
Turn the volume of all equipment to the lowest level and increase it
carefully
3.
Select the desired source device with the input selector switch.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transport
The products are maintenance-free.
Material damage

Clean only with a dry, soft cloth.
•
Do not use cleaning agents and chemicals.
•
Store cool and dry.
•
Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-
protected ambience when not in use.
•
Keep and use the original packaging for transport.
•
Avoid stresses such as heat and cold, moisture and direct sunlight
vibration and mechanical pressure.
•
In case of questions, defects, mechanical damage, trouble and
other problems, non-recoverable by the documentation, contact
your dealer or producer.
