The chinstrap must be adjusted and properly fastened. To adjust the chinstrap, loosen it at the
buckle, then snap it into place and pull the strap tightly under the chin. To loosen, squeeze the
sides between thumb and forefinger. A properly adjusted chinstrap should prevent the Helmet from
being removed from the front or back.
• CARE, INSPECTION, STORAGE AND DURABILITY:
This Helmet consists of a shell and
adjustable straps that make it a complete system. Several phenomena have a direct impact on
the aging of the helmet, such as cold, heat, exposure to sunlight, abrasion and use that does not
comply with the prescribed recommendations. It is possible to keep the helmet away from light,
humidity and extreme temperatures in its original packaging for a period of 5 years before using
it. A complete inspection of the shell and adjustable straps is recommended regularly and before
each use to check for even the slightest deterioration. A functional helmet must be well maintained
and in good condition. It will effectively protect the user for a maximum of 5 years if used normally.
This period can be significantly reduced if the helmet is used frequently. Although it is designed
to protect the user from possible injury, risks inherent to the practice of water sports remain and
cannot be eliminated by simply wearing the Helmet.
• CLEANING AND STORAGE AFTER USE:
The use of abrasive products or solvents is not
recommended for cleaning the Helmet. Warm water and a soft cloth are sufficient for regular
maintenance. Do not allow the Helmet to dry near a heat source. Prefer a dry and temperate
place for drying. Once dry, the Helmet can be stored away from moisture, heat and sunlight. Be
careful not to stack the Helmet or leave it in contact with contaminating substances during storage.
