The youngest player goes first. Play proceeds in a clockwise direction.
It’s time to be brave! The player must look Rattlesnake Jake right in the eyes as
they steal a gold nugget and place it in front of them.
On each turn, the player will be allowed to take their first gold nugget for free.
If they want to try their luck, they may choose to
flip the Fate Coin
for a
chance to grab a
second gold nugget
. But be careful...
being too greedy can be dangerous!

OBJECT OF THE GAME
Join the top and bottom
halves of the snake by lining
up the slots, and carefully
snapping together. Move the
ON / OFF switch located under
the snake to the ON position.
Set Rattlesnake Jake
in the middle of the
playing area and
place all gold
nuggets in the center
of his ring.
Gently push in the
head until it locks into
the starting position.
Place the cowboy hat on
top of his head, and he’s
ready to play!

SET UP
Nugget side
: The player may attempt to steal a
second nugget
. If they succeed, they can
try their luck for a
third and final nugget
.
Crossed nugget side
: No luck! Their turn
ends immediately
and they must give
one nugget back to Rattlesnake Jake
.
Example: The player has successfully pulled two nuggets during their turn and decides to the flip
the Fate Coin for a third and final gold nugget. The Fate Coin lands on the crossed side, so the
player must return one gold nugget back, ending their turn.
But you never know when Rattlesnake Jake will strike!
If he jumps forward, that player returns
half of their nuggets
to
Rattlesnake Jake’s pile and their turn is now over.
Push in the head to reset Rattlesnake Jake before the next player’s turn.
The game ends when a player successfully steals the last gold nugget from Rattlesnake Jake.
Tally up your nuggets — the player with the most wins the game!
