This operation should be done with the mower bar shifted over to one side so as
to take any bar drive pin ovalisation into account.
Stand R fig.1 can be adapted using holes S to the type of wheel mounted on the
wheel.
This stand is to be used to mount or demount the drive train from the machine.
When the machine is working, it must be raised and moved backwards to
position 1 shown in Fig. 1.
Position spring fixing screw P fig.1 so that there is an empty hole between
fulcrum and screw P.
2.2 LEVER MECHANISM TO THE MOTOR MOWER
The 85 lever mechanism can be attached to the drive section with the quick
couple fitted to it.
Insert the lever mechanism sleeve A fig.1-2 Make sure the notch C fig.2,
matches the arrow (narrow seating), until hook B snaps completely into position.
To detach the machine from the lever mechanism, follow these steps:
•
The engine should be running;
•
Lower the stand (position 2 fig.1)
•
PTO in neutral
•
Engage 1st gear Reverse
•
If the machine has one,
•
move the attachment release lever (on the handle bars) to "Release" and this
will release hook B fig.1 If the machine does not have this release lever,
release the hook by hand.
•
Release the clutch slightly and pull the machine back.
Machine with diesel engines: use the lever mechanism coupling extension
(available as an optional).
Machine with different kinds of hitches, use the specific couplings available as
optionals.
2.3 INSTALLING THE BALLAST ( available as an optional)
Various sets of ballast are available as optionals to adjust lever mechanism
weight for various needs.
We recommend, however to use a main ballast unit A fig.3, for petrol engine
machines.
For diesel engine units, it is good practice to add extra ballast B, to a max. 4
others 4, to ensure good lever mechanism balance.
to install the ballast. follow the layout shown in fig. 3, and the instructions in each
installation kit.
