Overview of Goldair Electric Blanket
Your Goldair electric blanket is equipped with two 9 Heat Controllers.

Plug into the mains power supply and switch
on the power mains.
Switch on the blanket with
“
On/Off
”
button.
The LED for timer and temperature will be
illuminated. The blanket will default to a
Medium setting of 5 for both ‘Body’ and ‘Feet’
and a the timer will default to 1 Hour.
Adjust your required body zone temperature or
your feet zone temperature by buttons of
“Body” or “Feet” from 1-9 heat settings.
Press the “Timer” button to choose the heating
time you need for both your body and feet
zones: 1h, 5h, 8h, 12h setting times.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using your Electric Blanket for the first time:
1)
The Electric Blanket needs to be unfolded and
laid flat before switching on.
2)
We recommend that you switch your Electric
Blanket to the maximum setting for two to
three hours before bedtime then reduce to
your desired heat setting 15 minutes before
getting into bed,
you must switch OFF prior
to sleeping.
EVERYDAY USE
With normal use your Electric Blanket will require
15 minutes of preheating before bedtime.
IMPORTANT: Your Electric Blanket is designed to
pre-heat your bed.
Never sleep with Electric
Blanket turned on.
NOTE: Children under the age of 3 are not to use
this appliance due to their inability to react to heat.
NOTE: This appliance is not to be used by young
children over the age of 3 unless the controls have
been pre-set by a parent or guardian, or unless the
child has been adequately instructed on how to
operate the controls safely.
NOTE: When lying on the Blanket some people
may experience a tingling sensation whether alone
or when touching someone else lying on the
Blanket.
This “tingling sensation” is known as an electric field
effect and caused by the current flowing through the
elements creating an Electromagnetic Field (EMF).
Some people may be more sensitive to feeling the
EMF tingling sensation than others. It is known to
occur across all makes and models.
This is no cause for concern and is in no way an
electric shock.
