Operating Instructions

Operation

1. Ensure that the water tank is positioned correctly.

2. Plug into mains power supply, the unit will beep and the display will illuminate.

3. Open the Front Cover to ensure the air flow is not restricted and then press the On/Off button - the unit
will begin to operate.

4. Use the control panel to select what settings you would like to use

– refer to Control Panel detail for

information on settings

5. To turn the dehumidifier off, simply press the On/Off button.

6. When the unit is full it will beep, the front light strip will turn from blue to red and the water tank full
indicator on the display will flash. When this occurs empty the water in the tank by removing the lid on the
tank and pouring the water out.

NOTE:

Do not throw away any of the material that comes with the water tank

– all components are

necessary for the tank to operate correctly.

NOTE:

The dehumidifier will continue to operate until the unit is switched off (unless the temperature

drops below 5°C or the water tank is full).

NOTE:

If the dehumidifier is switched off and then switched back on straight away, the compressor will

take  approximately 3 minutes to start.

Continuous Drainage

1.Remove the stopper at the rear of the unit as shown in the below image.
2.Connect the outlet opening with a suitable continuous drainage pipe (not supplied).
3.Direct the end of the pipe and water to run off where appropriate (do not direct the pipe to a higher
location than the outlet opening as this will cause the water run back down the pipe and flood the unit).

NOTE:

The water tank must be located within the unit for the dehumidifier to operate with the continuous

drainage option.
