Water Drainage
When the water tank is full:
- A continuous beep signal will occur.
- The compressor will stop automatically, this will also stop the dehumidification process.
- Empty the water tank and replace it in the correct position. The dehumidifier will continue its operation
once the compressor resets (this takes approx. 3 minutes).
- If desired, it is possible to connect a drainage tube (not supplied) to the dehumidifier for permanent water
drainage. Simply connect a suitable drainage hose (not supplied) to the drain spout and ensure that the
end of the hose is lower than the drain age spout opening, otherwise the water will not drain and flooding
may occur. See Fig 1-2.
- Place the end of the drainage hose in a drain or other appropriate run-off location. When you no longer
wish to use the permanent water drainage, disconnect the drainage tube from the dehumidifier.
Note:
Ensure that the water tank is positioned in the dehumidifier during continuous drainage otherwise
the unit will not operate.
Cleaning
Important:
Switch the dehumidifier off and remove the plug from the mains power supply before cleaning.
Exterior
Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. If the dehumidifier is extremely dirty, use a mild cleaning agent.
Wipe the dehumidifier with a slightly damp cloth. Never spray the dehumidifier with water.
Air Filter
When used regularly, the filter may become clogged with dust and particles. Therefore, the filter should be
cleaned Approximately every two weeks. Follow these steps:
1.Remove the air filter from the dehumidifier, by pulling it out from the rear of the unit.
2.Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or water. Air dry the filter and place it back into position in the
dehumidifier.
Note:
Ensure that the filter is completely dry before placing it back into the dehumidifier.
