Operating your Fan
Always choose a safe location for the fan, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined.
Ensure all packaging has been removed from the unit before use. This appliance requires no
installation, it should be used solely as a portable appliance.
WARNING:
Keep all objects at least 1 metre from the front, sides and rear
of the appliance.
Place the fan on a dry, level and sturdy surface.
Check that the fan control switch is set to the off position before plugging into the mains supply.
To operate the fan from the control panel, press ON/SPEED button.
To change speed press again to step the fan through the speeds from Low to High.
The LED’s on the display panel will show the current setting.
The OFF button turns the fan off.
Press the oscillation button once and the fan head will oscillate from left to right.
Press again and the head will oscillate up and down.
Press again and it will oscillate in a figure 8 type movement
Press agian to turn the oscillation off.
Adjust tilt by turning neck screw and tilting fan head to the desired wind
direction either upwards or downwards.
REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control performs the same functions as above and also controls
the MODE and TIMER functions as described below.
Press the TIMER button to set the timer. The set time will increase 0.5 hours
every time the button is pressed; the maximum time is 7.5 hours (the
indication LED will show the set time). To cancel the timer, press the timer
button until no timer
LED’s
are illuminated.
When first switched on the “MODE” LED will glow red indicating that the unit
is operating in “Normal” mode.
Press the MODE button and the light will change to green which is a “Natural”
setting where the fan will operate at various speeds to simulate natural wind.
Pressing the MODE button again will change to “Sleep” mode.

If Sleep mode is selected with the fan on high speed: The fan will operate
at high speed in Nature mode for 30 minutes, then at medium speed in
Nature mode for 30 minutes, and then it will operate at low speed in
Nature mode until manually turned off.

If Sleep mode is selected with the fan on Medium speed: The fan will
operate at medium speed in Nature mode 30 minutes, and then it will
operate at low speed in Nature mode until manually turned off.

If Sleep mode is selected with the fan on Low speed: The fan will operate
at low speed in Nature mode until manually turned off
Pressing the MODE button again will change back to “Normal” mode.
