„Weights“ memo game
Weights is a memo game for two to four players.
The game is suitable for children aged 3 years and over and
fosters motor skills and the identification of weights.
The game consists of:
12 triangular blocks with 6 different weights.
Object of the game
The object of the game is to find pairs of triangles of the same
weight.
Preparation
The triangular blocks are all placed face down on the table
and thoroughly shuffled.
The rules
The youngest player begins by picking up a weight, face
down, and weighing it in his or her hand. Then you can pick
up another weight, face down, and do the same.
You think that the weights of the two triangles are different?
Then put both triangles back in the positions where you pi-
cked them up.
Do both triangles seem to weigh the same? Then you can
turn them both over. Are the weight symbols the same colour?
Then your assumption was correct. Both weights now belong
to you and you can lay them face up in front of you. Now you
can go again. Maybe you will be able to find two more identi-
cal weights.
