Connect the 

(b) AC power adapter

 to the 

(5) AC power jack

 on the back of the 

BoomBUDDY

 Speaker. Plug the 

(b) AC power

 

adapter

 into an AC wall outlet. Turn 

the 

(1) Control knob

 clockwise to turn the power ON. The 

(6) LED power indicator

 

will glow amber to indicate power flow. Connect the 

(c) 3.5mm audio cable

 from 

your music device to the 

(4) AUX input

 on the back of the 

BoomBUDDY.

 Use the 

controls on your music device to select a song and control music settings. Use the 

(1) Control knob

 to adjust the volume.

*Volume can also be adjusted on your iPod, iPhone, MP3 Player, or other device. 

Using BoomBUDDY with MP3 Player, Home Theater System, or 
Any Other Device with 3.5mm Audio Output 

Troubleshooting

The LED power indicator is not glowing

- Please make sure the 

BoomBUDDY

 is properly connected to power. 

- Make sure that the power is ON by turning the 

(1) Control knob

 clockwise.

There is no sound

- Please make sure the 

BoomBUDDY

 is properly connected to power. 

- Turn the volume up to an audible level using the 

(1) Control knob.

 

- Verify that all cables are plugged in correctly.
- Try testing the 

BoomBUDDY

 with another audio source to verify there is not an 

  issue with the device you are using. 

The sound is distorted

- Many times the quality of your MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMV, MP4 or other music file  
  can affect the quality of the sound being produced. Please make sure that your  
  music file is to the quality you expect.
- Try lowering the volume on the

 BoomBUDDY

 and turning the volume up on  

  your audio device. 
- Be sure youre device is properly seated in the 

(2) iPod/iPhone charging dock.
