folders on mp3-cd discs
- MP files (songs) can be organized into folders (directories) when you record them on to a CD-
R disc. you can (for example) organize you folders on a disc so that each folder contains songs
by a particular artist, or alternatively, by a different genre or type. you can organize songs &
folders in any way you wish so that you can locate & play back those songs with greater ease &
convenience.
- to select a specific folder on a MP-CD data disc, simply press the folder key to switch the next
folder.
- each time a different folder is selected (by pressing folder ) the set will immediately start playing
the first song in that folder, and the LCD display will show the track number of that song.
- if the set is in „stop“ mode (no song is currently playing), and you press folder, the display will
show the track number of the first song in the next folder, but playback will not start automati
-
cally. please press (
) (play) in this case to start playback (note: the may be a short delay
before playback begins).
text mode display (id3-tag)
- the set is capable of displaying the „text information“ (ID-Tags) of MP song files on the LCD.
- during playback of an MP song, every 5 seconds, the display will automatically switch to „text
mode“ & display the ID-Tag information.
- after the ID-Tag information has been displayed, the unit will switch back to the normal display
(track # & playback time) for another 5 seconds.
- the above sequence of display modes repeats continuously as follows:
programming the cd-player
- the CD player can be programmed to play any sequence of upto 60 tracks, as desired.
- always press the stop key before starting the programming.
- press the prog/mem key once, the display will show the „memory“ symbol to indicate that the
set is now in „memory programming mode“.
- press the next or back to select the track (song) number you wish to be stored in the current
memory (program) position.
- press the prog/mem key to confirm your selection.
- repeat the previous stops, each time selecting any track number of your choice to be stored
in successive (program) positions.
- after a maximum of 60 songs (or less) have been selected as described above, press
.
(play) key, the display will now show ‚prog“ to indicate you have saved a program-memory.
- the CD-player will playback the ‚saved sequence“ in the program memory.
- to clear (cancel) the entire program which is stored in the memory, simply press stop key twice
( times consecutively). this will reset the memory & clear the program.
usb flash drive mp3 playback
- this unit is equipped with a USB socket which can accept and play MP files stored on standard
USB flash drives (also known as „pen drives“) which are for memory storage. (compatible with
USB version 1.1 & .0).
- to utilize this function press the „USB“ key until the display shows „USB“, & then insert a USB
flash drive into the USB socket.
- the display will show the USB symbol & check if any MP song files are stored on the USB
lash-drive.
