Change Range (CSM only)
Each single press of Switch Two changes the range. The ranges
available are LEL/GAS – O
2
– Toxic 1 – Toxic 2 – LEL/GAS, etc.
Change Range (CGI only)
Each single press of Switch Two changes the range. The ranges
available are PPM/LEL/GAS – O
2
– Toxic 1 – Toxic 2 – PPM/LEL/GAS,
etc.
Pump ON / OFF (CGI only)
A single press of Switch One , when the pump is running, turns the
pump off and stops sampling. A further press turns the pump back on.
Zero PPM Range (CGI only)
With ppm range selected, double press Switch Two to zero. This
should be carried out in fresh air.
Manual Datalogging
A single press of Switch Three performs a manual datalog.
Confirmation is via the STORE flag being displayed briefly and the buzzer
sounding.
Automatic Datalogging (CSM only)
A double press of Switch Three toggles automatic datalogging On
and Off. When ON, the STORE flag is permanently displayed.
Clearing Alarms (CSM only)
A double press of Switch Four will clear an alarm if latching. Double
pressing will only cancel the alarm when the gas level falls below the
threshold set in the instrument. If more than one gas alarm threshold has
been exceeded a double press of Switch Four will clear each alarm
in order of priority.
Activate Audible Geiger (CGI only)
To activate the audible Geiger (in PPM range only) press and hold Switch
Four . Press and hold again to mute the indication.
Switch OFF
A double press of Switch One turns the instrument Off.
